All around us are folks of all kinds. A few of these folks have mastered their own mind by sharpening their
short term memory. These folks have moved traps out of the way,
stressors from their life, and used methods to improve memory. Still, some folks are fighting to sharpen the mind.
These folk have not mastered the mind and took command of their own lives, yet it can occur with no regard for what
any one thinks. The mind is sort of a hurricane. Hurricanes send gushes of wind, which represents attacking
memories. The hurricanes can sweep away stumbling blocks, homes, etc, just as the mind can sweep the memories. The
sole difference is a hurricane can destroy objects, while the memory stores info learnt forever. Still, if the mind
suffers illness or death, it too can destroy memories and info learnt. What is needed to sharpen the mind is
removing traps. Traps are stressors, anxiousness, nervousness, distracting thoughts and so on. When you remove
these traps, you would have cleared up memory to flow openly. Now you can
start downloading new info to bring those old memories to life. To study effectively you'll need to shorten your
time studying. Put simply, rather than reading for hours, say 5 or 6, break down the study time. It is feasible to
learn more studying in less time, say around 2 hours. The body and mind works if you plan sensibly. In other words,
if you go to the gymnasium for exercise and workout seven hours believing you may loose weight, you'll be depressed
at the general results. Correct exercise is breaking down workouts. The body can handle working out 3 times per
week, at one hour intervals. Similarly , the mind can work effectively if you use moderation as a tool to study.
The mind wants fun time and relaxation time otherwise, you'll setup traps. Severe exercises leaves room for traps.
take study time and use it sensibly by breaking down the workload. Time wasting is a trap too attempts to start the
tasks right away and preview first before hopping into the study. This can help you prepare the mind for the task,
while avoiding time wasting. The best times to study is at what time the body and mind is relaxed. You shouldn't
study if you have not eaten a meal. This is another trap, since the body will desire its must haves, that the body
feeds off the mind ; you are hurting 2 valuable parts of you that stumbles you from sharpening the mind.

Now you are feeling worried, fearful you'll miss out. You setup this trap in your mind's eye.
Take some deep breathes, release, a couple more deep breathes, release, and tell you that you can do this. Now
find a cushty area in the room, relax, and take a couple more deep breathes.
Say again, I can do this. If you tell you that you can not, you are only building traps and likely, you will not
finish study. Now, preview the info you are to study looking thru each chapter. Glance at the headers, subject,
first sentences, and some details between the pages. Look at the photos as you preview.
What you do now is preparing the mind for the task. Ok, now you are prepared to observe the first chapter. Read
it slowly so you grasp the meaning. Have your purpose in place as you move along. Say out loud. My purpose is to
study these chapters allotted in order that I can make preparations for an imminent test. My goal is to finish this
job before I arrive at class tomorrow morning. Read the chapters slowly and after finishing review the data.
Paraphrase areas where you have questions so you can make room for clarifications. You can recite and repeat any
areas that are confusing to help study effectively while sharpening the mind.
